About RoastDB

Hi! We're Mohamed and Amr. Mohamed loves the hunt — stumbling upon a new roaster while traveling, bringing home a bag from a city's best specialty shop. Amr loves the ritual — that moment when you slow down with your second cup and actually taste what you're drinking.

We built RoastDB for both: a place to discover your next favorite coffee, and a reason to slow down and enjoy it.

There are hundreds of incredible specialty roasters out there, each with their own website, their own story, and their own beans waiting to be tried. We've gathered 3,808 of them from 422 roasters into one searchable index.

Filter by origin, processing method, roast level — or fall into the rabbit holes of rare varieties and specific farms. We focus on roasters who care about quality: traceable origins, transparent sourcing, careful roasting. In other words, coffee worth slowing down for.

How it works

We research and identify specialty roasters across the world, then index their websites regularly — pulling in new beans, updating prices, flagging what's seasonal or sold out. The data refreshes automatically, so you're seeing what's actually available.

We're not complete, and errors happen. If you spot something off or know a great roaster we missed, let us know — we'd love the tip.

Made in 🇩🇪 🇦🇪 🇬🇧

RoastDB started as a personal spreadsheet in Berlin — photos of bags Mohamed tried and liked, shared with friends. We began with German roasters and are growing outward from there, adding great roasters from around the world.
