RoastDB maintains one of the most comprehensive structured datasets of specialty coffee beans available. Updated weekly, normalized across languages, and quality-checked by automated pipelines.

What's in the dataset

4,929 beans from 517 roasters across 30+ countries, each with:

  • Bean name (original language + English translation)
  • Roaster name, city, and country
  • Origin country and region, farm/producer when available
  • Variety, processing method, roast level and profile
  • Price, currency, and weight
  • Tasting notes (original + translated)
  • Cupping scores where published
  • Product URL and images

All fields are normalized to a consistent schema — country names standardized, processing methods categorized, roast levels mapped from German/Swedish/Japanese into a common scale.
