RoastDB maintains a structured, regularly refreshed view of what specialty roasters are actually selling: 9,976 beans from 582 vetted roasters worldwide. We curate the dataset continuously, combining automation with hands-on review to keep it accurate as the coverage grows.

Every bean keeps its original roaster listing as the source record. On top of that, RoastDB builds reviewed canonical links for origins, regions, farms, producers, washing stations, lots, varieties, and processing details. This preserves what the roaster wrote while making the data useful for market analysis and traceability work.

The public bean endpoints can include those canonical references with include=references, for example /api/beans?origin=Colombia&include=references or /api/bean?slug=example&include=references. When the reviewed graph has been materialized, each reference also includes its durable entity id, canonical key, and confidence label.
