The El Moreno is a washed Caturra from the Huehuetenango department in northwestern Guatemala, grown by the Perez family at altitudes between 1800 and 2000 meters. The region is considered one of the most famous highland areas in Central America. Huehuetenango is protected from frost by warm, dry winds from Tehuantepec and offers ideal conditions for high-quality coffee cultivation. The rugged steep slopes of the Cuchumatanes Mountains create distinct microclimates. Characterized by clayey soils with balanced minerality. Full body, clear fruit, harmonious and complex.
