In Ethiopia, the Queen of Sheba is an important figure. She became known in legend as the ruler of an ancient kingdom precisely in the place where Ethiopia and Yemen now lie. For Ethiopians, the Queen of Sheba is the founder of their Ethiopian civilization and the first ancestor of the Ethiopian imperial kings, known as the 'Solomon' dynasty.

- In Ethiopië is de Koningin van Sheba een belangrijke figuur. Ze werd in de legende bekend als de heerseres van een oud koninkrijk precies op de plek waar nu Ethiopië en Jemen liggen. Voor de Ethiopiërs is de Koningin van Sheba de grondlegger van hun Ethiopische beschaving en de eerste voorouder van de Ethiopische keizerlijke koningen, bekend als de 'Salomo'-dynastie.
