Excelsa varieties are naturally sweet and fruity coffees with a light body, less caffeine and a mild acidity. This is a beautiful example of this species, produced by Mooleh Manay in India. It is a natural process where fermentation enhances the fruitiness of the coffee. The sweetness is very intense (almost as if someone added some sugar to your cup) and the aromas are mouth-watering.
