About This Coffee
This coffee comes from Finca Monteblanco in the Huila region, Colombia. The farm is located on volcanic rock at an altitude of 1730 masl and is run as a family business by Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia and his wife. Colombian coffees are naturally expressive and impress with clear and often complex notes. These form the basis for the further steps of co-fermentation. The fermentation consists of two steps with a total duration of 340 hours. As a result, we get an unusually expressive coffee through co-fermentation with watermelon.

- Dieser Kaffee stammt von der Finca Monteblanco aus der Region Huila, Kolumbien. Die Farm liegt auf vulkanischem Gestein auf einer Höhe von 1730 masl und wird als Familienbetrieb von Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia und seiner Frau geführt. Kolumbianische Kaffees sind von natur aus ausdrucksstark und bestechen mit klaren und oft komplexen Noten. Diese Bilden die Basis für die weiteren Schritte der Co-Fermentation. Die Fermentation besteht aus zwei Schritten mit einer Gesamtdauer von 340 Stunden. Im Ergebnis erhalten wir einen ungewöhnlich ausdrucksstarken Kaffee, durch die Co-Fermentation mit Wassermelone.
