About This Coffee
René Méndez – Finca Jolimex, Caturra (Guatemala, Huehuetenango). This washed microlot convinces with clear notes of dried citrus fruit, dried fruits and toffee. Grown at 1,550 m by small farmer René Méndez in Huehuetenango and fermented for 36–48 hours before being sun-dried for 6–8 days. This special coffee is grown in the mountains of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, by René Méndez on his small 1.3 hectare farm. The ripe cherries are carefully hand-picked, fermented for 36–48 hours, washed and then dried on patios. The result: a clean, sweetly balanced coffee.
