Mount Meru Espresso

About This Coffee

Directly traded espresso from Tanzania. Mount Meru is a single origin espresso which originates from the slopes of the eponymous mountain in Tanzania. The small farmers of the Nombeko Cooperative grow not only coffee, but also bananas, papayas and mangoes on the fertile volcanic soils here. The coffee is distinguished by a powerful, intense body and is rounded off by a subtle, sweet fruit note reminiscent of orange or grapefruit.
