Very strongly roasted – ideal for portafilter machines – this single origin coffee unfolds intense aromas of dark chocolate and roasted almonds. The 100% Arabica beans of the Típica, Colombia, and Castilla varieties are roasted in small batches by hand, no more than 4 weeks before shipping. Processing: washed – for a clear, balanced flavor profile. This specialty coffee comes from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, one of the most biodiverse highland regions in Colombia. Grown at 1,200–1,900 m by the Red Ecolsierra cooperative, it is hand-picked and processed according to strict organic and Fairtrade standards. Directly traded and proudly co-owned by the farmer – for genuine, sustainable coffee enjoyment. This single origin comes from the mountains of the Colombian Sierra Nevada – hand-picked by over 400 families of the Red Ecolsierra cooperative. What makes it special?
