Juan Jose - Specialty Coffee - Chamäleon Röstung
About This Coffee
Mildly roasted – perfect for filter and espresso – this single farm coffee combines sweet notes of red grapes with fine caramel. The Arabica beans of the Castillo, Cénicafe 1, and Tabi varieties come from the highlands of Antioquia and are gently roasted in small batches by hand – never older than 4 weeks at shipping. Processing: washed. At 1,000–1,300 m, this specialty coffee grows under ideal conditions on the Finca Linda Laja. Freshly hand-picked and 'Proudly Co-Owned by the Farmer,' it stands for genuine partnership and quality with origin. A coffee that not only delights in taste but also symbolizes direct, fair collaboration. In the mountains of Antioquia lies the Finca Linda Laja – a place where coffee grows in harmony with nature. Since 1972, the Lopera family has cultivated their land according to permaculture principles. The cherries ripen slowly under shade trees, developing their characteristic aromas. But Linda Laja stands not only for quality but also for social responsibility: The farm supports local projects, especially for women. Today, Esteban, the founder's son, brings this coffee to Germany through Caventura – freshly roasted, directly from his family. A true family coffee, rooted in the rainforest of Colombia.

Die Kirschen reifen langsam unter Schattenbäumen und entwickeln so ihre charakteristischen Aromen.
