About This Coffee
A washed coffee from northern Peru. This coffee represents the work of 20 producers in Cajamarca department of northern Peru. Producers regularly help each other with farm tasks, working together to cultivate this delicious coffee. This is a high elevation coffee, grown at heights ranging between 1550 and 2000 masl. This elevation and the farms' locations near the San Andrés National Reserve and Huamantanga Forest provide rich biodiversity and ideal microclimates for specialty coffee production. This is a delicious northern Peruvian coffee with notes of milk chocolate, light caramel, dried fruit, and malic acidity, set off by a medium body and brown sugar sweetness. For a filter brew, we recommend a 1:15 (coffee to filtered water) ratio.
