We've enjoyed exceptional coffees from Bombe in recent years, and this new crop was a standout in our blind cupping. The washed process brings a clarity and cleanliness that showcases the quality we've come to expect from this renowned station. Serving smallholder farmers across the surrounding highlands, the Bombe station is managed by DWD, who operate several respected sites in Sidama. The station is run by Dukale Wakayo - well known locally for both his coffee expertise and his former volleyball career. Born to coffee-farming parents in Bensa, Dukale first traded sugarcane before moving into coffee, where his commitment to quality truly shines. An elegant, bright Ethiopian that reminds us why Bombe is always a favourite.
