About This Coffee

Ethyl acetate, a natural ester, is used for the decaffeination of green coffee. First, the coffee beans are steamed and then placed in a solution of water and ethyl acetate to remove the caffeine. The process takes several hours and ensures that no caffeine is detectable afterwards. Finally, the beans are steamed again to remove any residues of the solvent before they are dried and polished for export. No matter whether as filter coffee or espresso. You will be thrilled!
