About This Coffee
Lalesa is a place where you can see women carefully sorting coffee. The coffee comes from small farmers in the surrounding area who grow coffee plants in the shade of Ensete trees. After harvest, the cherries are carefully sorted, subjected to flotation and then dried for 12 to 15 days on raised beds.
