About This Coffee

Our organic-certified Peru Lima Organic coffee carries sweet-fruity notes of maple syrup, grapefruit, and raisin. The green coffee comes from the Lima Coffee Association, which currently includes around 800 small farmers from various coffee-growing regions in Peru. In 2016, there were only 300 members. The declared goal is to bring Peru's great specialty coffees to the world. Interest in joining the association is high: in addition to the quality of the coffee beans, the standard of living for many farmers has significantly improved over time. The president of the association is Rony Lavan, a coffee expert who won the "Cup of Excellence" in 2017 with one of his coffees. This is the world's most renowned green coffee competition in the specialty sector.
