About This Coffee

Our first taste of a half-caff coffee came thanks to our friend Matt Carter, who brought the idea back from his travels in New Zealand. We’ll admit — we were skeptical. But the more we noticed friends and family skipping their afternoon coffee to avoid the late-night effects of caffeine, the more it made sense. A blend that kept the flavor and ritual, but dialed down the buzz, could be just what was missing. The Beter Helfte is never set in stone — it will change as our decaf supply changes. Right now, it’s an even marriage of 50% Ethiopian Sugarcane Decaf and 50% Tanzania AA from the Mbeya Region, offering full character with only half the caffeine.
