About This Coffee

Burundi is an up and coming African coffee growing area. The Kavugangoma area has rich, fertile soils, with high rainfall and altitudes which are ideal conditions for growing quality Arabica coffee. Smallholder farmers are able to easily cultivate the coffee without additives, rendering it organically grown. It is a fully washed coffee, with a bright lemony fruitiness, dark chocolate on the back palate and caramelly aromas. Medium roasted with a silky, smooth body. Ideal for pour overs and aeropresses.
