Ginimao is produced by Steven Rebello, a second-generation coffee farmer and member of the KaadKaapi collective in Chikmagalur, Karnataka. The farm operates within a biodiversity preservation model that limits shade-tree cutting to non bird-nesting periods and permits the free movement of native wildlife across the property. This approach aligns with broader conservation efforts in the Western Ghats, a region under pressure from shifting trends toward high volume, full-sun cultivation. This lot is 100% S-795, a cultivar developed in India through a cross between Kent and Liberica strains. It was selected for rust resistance, yield stability, and favorable cup quality.
