About This Coffee

In reality we didn't need another Ethiopian coffee in this years offering, we have a selection of fantastic Ethiopian coffees on our list already. One of the problems we've created at the roastery however, is that we taste everything 'blind'. That is, without knowing which coffee is which, before we start tasting them. This coffee was screaming off the table and we couldn't ignore it. It's incredible rich toffee character really shone for us and give the coffee serious complexity especially as it cools. The Halo Beriti mill is renowned for it's quality focus and long term work with producers. Over the last ten years they've put the time and effort in to producing exactly the kind of coffee Bekele's is and we're lucky enough to reap the rewards of their hard work.
