Vibrant, balanced, and created as a tribute to our hometown of Vancouver, Washington. Vancouver Blend combines a washed Pink Bourbon from Colombia with a natural coffee from Ethiopia. Each component is roasted separately before blending, creating a light-bodied cup with layered sweetness, clarity, and a lively finish. Expect caramel apple richness, smooth chocolate, and sweet tangerine, supported by medium perceived acidity and an easy-drinking structure. Created in honor of Vancouver, Washington, and inspired by the phrase “A colorful past, and a bright future,” this blend reflects the balance of tradition and progress that defines our community. The combination of washed Colombia Pink Bourbon and natural Ethiopian coffee brings together sweetness, structure, and fruit-forward clarity. The result is expressive enough for a carefully prepared pour-over while remaining balanced and approachable for everyday brewing. Vancouver Blend uses a fixed two-coffee formulation. Each component is roasted separately to account for its origin, density, and processing method before the coffees are combined. This approach allows us to develop sweetness and structure in each component while preserving the bright, layered character of the finished blend. This exact formulation was evaluated as part of Kafiex Roasters’ winning submission for Roast magazine’s 2026 Micro Roaster of the Year award.
