About This Coffee
This lot comes from the washing station of Ebirahim Ahmed's washing station in Uraga, a densely forested part of the Guji Zone. Approx 600 local farmers surrounding Ebirahim's washing station bring cherry to be washed and processed, and this is the highest scoring of their daily outturns. After picking fresh ripe cherry, the coffee gets washed, fermented overnight and put on raised beds to dry in the sun for 15-18 days, where it gets methodically raked each day until reaching perfect dryness.
