About This Coffee

Geisha is one of the most famous coffee varieties in the world and is appreciated for its fine structure and distinctive aroma. In Las Brisas in Pitalito, Huila, Brayan Smith cultivates this variety at 1800-1850 m above sea level, where volcanic soils and cooler temperatures create ideal growing conditions. Only fully ripe cherries are selected, hand-picked and floated to remove defects. The coffee then undergoes a controlled 30-hour underwater fermentation according to the Cofinet protocol.
