Imbalu

About This Coffee

Imbalu is a specialty Arabica coffee produced on the slopes of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda by The Coffee Yard in partnership with 578 smallholder farmers. Grown at high elevations in fertile volcanic soils, this coffee reflects the unique terroir of the Mount Elgon region. The cup is typically characterised by a balanced sweetness, bright citrus acidity, and notes of stone fruit, chocolate, and caramel, resulting in a clean and approachable profile that highlights the quality potential of Ugandan Arabica coffee.
