About This Coffee

This is a really special coffee for me. One of the most memorable cups in my life was produced by Danny's father, Daniel, on his farm El Campo. Since then I've championed the work of the Moreno family, now taken on by Daniel's sons since his passing. I'm really honored to have Danny's coffee on our menu.Danny grows primarily Pacas, a bourbon mutation. His coffees tend to be sweet and very approachable. It's super flexible in brewing, yielding delicious cups across many brewing styles and formats. The base flavor profile is silky milk chocolate, with sweet plum and pear like characteristics supporting. Espresso will bring out an almost berry like acidity and a long lingering sweet finish like caramel.
