About This Coffee

The Round-the-Clock is our darkest coffee and a single origin from Honduras. The perfect all around coffee that is perfect for espresso and filter coffee with or without milk. Specialty coffee is usually not very welcoming of dark roast coffees, and to this we ask: why? Specialty coffee's definition of what coffee should taste like is very narrow and exclusionary. Coffee is deeply subjective, and our role as roasters is not to tell you what to drink, but to make the best version of what you want to drink. And people want dark roasts, period. Our goal as a business is to buy as much green coffee as possible from the producers we work with since is the biggest positive impact we can have in the supply chain. We use the same ethically sourced coffee for our darker coffees, and we treat them with the same care and skills that made us win the Micro Roaster of the Year Award by Roast Magazine. We don't cut corners, and we don't use cheap beans: by buying our dark roasts instead of those at the grocery store that only pad multinational corporations' margins, you help us increase our purchasing power with smallholder farmer while also enjoying the best dark roast of your life. Our sourcing practices are bold and different, just like our delicious dark roasts.
