About This Coffee
Cultivating coffee within a natural ecosystem in the Namballe area of San Ignacio, Cajamarca. La Zunga is a town nestled along the Tabaconas Namballe National Sanctuary, protecting a rare ecosystem called the páramo. Persy Pusma's 2.5 hectare farm is planted with several coffee varieties, native shade trees, and subsistence crops. The coffee is fully washed after a 29-hour wet fermentation and dried in the sun over 23 days.
