About This Coffee

This is our second time featuring José of El Casino. His coffees are always some of our favourites from Huila and this lot does not disappoint. This is a unique Ethiopian Landrace grown in Colombia, and in the cup we get juicy tropical mangos, florals like jasmine and black tea, and sweet honeysuckle. This is an extra-light roast variant of José Martinez, which is recommended for experienced brewers only willing to wait up to forty days post roast for best results. Extra-Light sacrifices initial sweetness and intensity for higher clarity, our regular light roast (absent of the Extra-Light label) is more in-line with modern light approaches and is best for most people.
