About This Coffee

Servio Botina produces some of our favorite coffees in all of southern Huila. We discovered his coffee several years ago and have never looked back. In the cup we find pomegranate, lime zest, and strawberry. Every time we have the opportunity to work with coffee from Servio and his family, it is special. Producing exceptional quality once is difficult—but producing it consistently, season after season, is truly extraordinary. We are deeply grateful to the Botina family for their intentionality, dedication to their craft, and continued pursuit of excellence. Pink Bourbon is a relatively new variety being grown primarily in and around Huila, Colombia. The variety has been identified genetically as an Ethiopian Landrace, but unfortunately, we cannot be any more specific as to its origins until there is a larger genetic database.
