Brazil Sitio Sr.Niquinho [ニキーニョ]
About This Coffee
Flavors of walnut and caramel with a toasty sweetness. Recommended for those who prefer a full-bodied taste with low acidity. Roasted slightly darker as a medium roast in townsfolk's lineup, it emphasizes sweetness without an overly roasty impression. The farm owner, Luiz Paulo, is the fourth generation in a family of coffee producers. The farm's name, "Sitio Senhor Niquinho," comes from his grandfather's nickname. After earning a degree in business administration and working as a banker, Luiz returned to Carmo de Minas to take over the family business. He became a key figure in Brazil's specialty coffee scene, serving as vice president (2009) and president (2011-2013) of the Brazil Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA). Luiz emphasizes sustainable coffee production, protecting native forests and rivers around the farm while maintaining high quality. ------------------------------------------------------------- [Information] Tasting notes: Walnuts, Caramel, Round Farmer: Luiz Paulo Dias Pereira Filho Region: Carmo de Minas Variety: Yellow Bourbon Altitude: 1,100-1,300m Process: Natural
