Bom Bon

About This Coffee

Bom Bon – velvety sweet. Bom Bon is a coffee-embodied praline with sweet fruit notes, accompanied by classic chocolatey espresso aromas. The coffee is particularly unique when prepared as espresso. The fermentation gives the coffee a funky touch. Roasted for espresso. The lot was developed at the Universidade Federal de Viçosa in cooperation with the national organization EPAMIG. Genes from a hybrid plant derived from a cross between Red Caturra and Timor Hybrid were used. For the fermentation, selectively harvested coffee cherries were packaged in polypropylene bags, wrapped in black plastic foil and fermented under anaerobic conditions for 96 hours.
