About This Coffee

This washed lot comes from smallholder plots in the village of Boreta, high in the Arbegona district of Sidama. Grown at altitudes over 2200MaSL, cherries ripen slowly, developing dense sugars and refined complexity. Coffee is hand-sorted by density, then dried on raised beds for up to 15 days with regular turning for balance and control. Expect clarity and vibrancy, with lemongrass and citrus brightness layered over a creamy, full-bodied base. A clean, lifted cup from one of Ethiopia's highest-altitude growing zones. Arbegona sits at the upper limit of viable altitude — and you can taste it. High-grown complexity, tempered by careful washed processing.
