Communidade Serra Nova - Brazil
About This Coffee
Brazil is one of the origin countries where you can assume that coffee is often very consistent and high quality. The Communidade Serra Nova is a great example of this. As an espresso or milk drink, the coffee has an incredibly buttery and caramel note! The region Ilicnea is located at the border between Sul De Minas and the Cerrado with farms between 1100 and 1320 m elevation. The area consists of 6 municipalities blessed with a microclimate that has all the prerequisites to produce unique and fascinating coffees. The soil is known as Cambisolo. Farmers have installed wind protection systems and planted trees to minimize wind impacts on harvests. The region is relatively new as these coffees were previously sold under other regional names. Today farmers receive much recognition for their unique coffees that taste distinctly different from neighboring regions.
