About This Coffee
An anaerobic natural Red Bourbon from Valentin Kimenyi's 'Gasharu Washing Station' in Nyamasheke, Rwanda. Each year we're finding those Rwanda / Burundi type coffees taste more elegant, refined and distinct. Having tasted coffees from Gasharu close to a decade ago, it's insane to think how much these coffees have evolved. This lot felt somewhat akin to an anaeroby Eth: tea-like body captures bright and unruly acidities, funky cherry moves in with watermelon chocolates, raspberry soda is there with a wedge of lime. It’s a great party.
