About This Coffee

This coffee comes from Ethiopia's high-altitude regions above 2,400 meters, representing an extremely rare batch of ultra-small, ultra-high-density specialty beans. Even in its green state, it exudes hints of tropical fruits and berry aromas, with extremely high sugar content, requiring precise heat control during roasting to avoid burning. Alo mini is distinctly different from common Ethiopian natural coffees, exhibiting intense aromatic concentration and bright sweet-acid balance. The cupping performance is as vibrant as tropical fruit beer, with strong passionfruit, hops, pineapple, and berry aromas, full of sweet and sour notes, and a jam-like viscous texture. When brewed as pour-over, the aroma bursts forth, better expressing the sweet-sour tropical fruit notes. Its rich aroma and excellent sweet-acid performance make it particularly suitable for iced coffee.
