About This Coffee

The Kilimbi washing station is located in Nymasheke, in the western province of Rwanda, at an altitude of 1650 - 1850 m above sea level. It was founded in 2016 and was one of the first washing stations in the history of Rwanda to legally produce and export natural and honey-processed coffees. Over the years, Kilimbi has become an award-winning station. Around 750 small farmers work with the washing station under the management of the managing director Joseph Ntarindwa. The production is around 300-350 tons of cherries per year.
