About This Coffee
ALO Peaberry is produced by Tamiru Tadesse at the ALO Coffee washing station in Sidama, Ethiopia, his central hub for processing and quality control. Farmers from the surrounding highlands deliver freshly harvested cherries here, where every step of post harvest is carefully managed. Situated at remarkable elevations of up to 2400 masl, this environment allows for slower cherry maturation, contributing to greater density and complexity in the cup. Tamiru remains deeply involved throughout the entire process, working closely with his team to ensure only meticulously handpicked cherries are selected. A selection of peaberries, a natural mutation where only one seed develops, often resulting in higher density. This lot also features the 74158 varietal, chosen for its resilience and its potential to express clarity and sweetness.
