Raul Sanchez is a leader in the Jalapa coffee community and this excellent farm produces some of the best coffee in Guatemala. Because of the scarcity of water in Jalapa, Raul's coffee arrives at the processing station as cherries the same day they are harvested. The lots are remarkably uniform, which is a sign of the careful picking. Raul also works with the producer organisation in Jalapa to strengthen the community by giving growers access to those buyers. He is committed to enhancing the reputation of Jalapa's speciality coffee producers and benefiting the community as a whole. The crisp citrus peel bitterness of Orange, the mild chocolatey and brown sugar sweetness of the cocoa, nuts and gianduja, and the jasmine-like impression that emerges when the coffee cools, give it an luxury feel at a price that is even reasonable for everyday use.
