About This Coffee

Whilst Nariño isn't seen as Colombia's greatest coffee producing region, this lot proves that it can certainly hold its own with anywhere. Caravela, the exporter for this coffee, started working in Consacá in 2016 after one of the producers in this area came second in Cup of Excellence with a whopping 92 points. This ongoing relationship has established a station at the town of Bomboná and represents opportunity for local producers to sell high quality coffee to the international market. We love the classic Colombian quality of this cup, plenty of acidity, good structure and ripe fruitiness.
