About This Coffee

It's no secret that we're fans of Alejo and his coffees, in fact, who isn't. There's a reason Volcan Azul coffees can be found in the best roasteries across the world. This year we've purchased a Red Honey Typica. Where last year's Anaerobic Washed process had subtlety and delicacy, this year's lot eschews that for fruitiness and flavour. It's a loud coffee which jumped out at the cupping table, great aroma and acidity paired with the cup structure Volcan Azul is known for, it's a belter.
