About This Coffee
Fazenda Barreiro was founded in 1820 by Joaquim Bernardes da Costa Junqueira. The farm is located in the southern region of Minas Gerais, at an average altitude of 1150m. Francisco Otávio Lotufo and his family have been committed to environmentally and socially responsible farming. The coffee is mechanically or hand-picked, dried on patios, and then transferred to mechanical driers. The beans are then stored before being bagged and prepared for export. This single variety lot of Yellow Bourbon is well-processed, with a long, gentle roast profile to develop the milk chocolatey body and rich nuttiness with a sweet cherry finish.
