Kiangai Washed / Kenya

About This Coffee

Located in the Kiangai Wet Mill in the Kirinyaga district of Nyeri County, central Kenya, this coffee is grown in high-altitude areas ranging from 1,700 to 1,800 meters. Around 900 smallholder farmers belonging to the Kibirigwi Cooperative bring ripe cherries for careful sorting and processing. After pulping, the coffee undergoes density sorting and fermentation before being slowly dried on African beds. The collaboration between local farmers and the wet mill produces clean and high-quality coffee characteristic of Kenya.
