About This Coffee
The coffee comes from the Shale Washing Station in Worka, which supports around 1,500 small farmers from the Yirgacheffe region. Freshly picked cherries are brought directly to the station after harvest, carefully sorted there, washed or processed as natural, and then dried on raised beds. Most farmers work traditionally and naturally, often without the use of fertilizers or pesticides. This creates a particularly authentic Ethiopian coffee, characterized by the original terroir and the experience of local producers.
