Complex but balanced with a winey mouthfeel. Nigusie Gemeda Mude took out the first ever cup of excellence competition in Ethiopia 2020 ever since he has been a local hero in Bura. We are stoked to have some coffee from his 2021 harvest, and now we can share it with you. At only 2 hectares of land Nigusie doesn’t produce much coffee, but what he does is amazing. Processing is done at the nearby Testi Ayla washing station, meticulous picking, sorting and small scale processing has meant Nugisie’s coffees are sought after even before he won the COE. He has just placed 25th in the 2021 COE.
