About This Coffee

This coffee is a snapshot of place, grown in the highlands of Bensa, Sidama, where passion, precision, and belief in quality converge. Alo Coffee was founded by Tamiru Tadesse, a former electrical engineer and university teacher, who entered Ethiopia’s first Cup of Excellence in 2021 and won with his debut lot, a triumph that confirmed Sidama's potential to rival the world’s best. This natural-processed JARC 74158 is crafted with care in Tamiru’s home village of Alo, where cool air and careful drying allow fruit intensity and clarity to shine. We’ve roasted it ultra-light to let the nuances shine. Expect blackberry and orange brightness, grapefruit acidity, and a tea-like structure that finishes clean and sweet.
