About This Coffee

Koke Honey – fruity complex. A clean coffee with notes of fresh peach, pineapple and the depth of ripe fruit. Complexity with a touch of funk. Roasted for filter. The lot comes from the kebeles Birbes Kela, Koke, Konga, Wedessa and Tisho. Many smallholder farms bring their harvest to the Koke Washing Station where this coffee was processed. The coffee is sourced from partner Ally Coffee, who has had a close partnership with the washing station since 2015. The station was built in 2011. The honey process fermentation takes two days in the coffee cherry's own fruit flesh before depulping, then dried on raised beds.
