About This Coffee

Our Honduran coffees this year are extra special for us because we had the opportunity to go down to Honduras to select these coffees and meet many of the people behind them. For one of our first offerings we have this washed Typica from Lester Guevara from the San Andrés region of Honduras. Their family has been in coffee for multiple generations and his father Edras Guevara just won first place for their washed Typica in this year’s Cup of Excellence competition. This coffee from Lester is also a great example of the quality their family is producing. This cup immediately stood out to us on the cupping table for its exceptional acidity and juiciness. This coffee is intensely tropical with notes of mango, peach, and passion fruit.
