About This Coffee
The Kilimbi washing station is located in Nymasheke, in the western part of Rwanda, at an elevation of 1650–1850 m above sea level. It was founded in 2016 and was one of the first washing stations in Rwanda's history to legally produce and export natural and honey processed coffee. Over the years, Kilimbi became an award-winning station. In 2020, it was the only one producing honey. Around 750 smallholder farmers work with the washing station under the direction of Joseph Ntarindwa.

- Die Kilimbi-Waschstation befindet sich in Nymasheke, im westlichen Teil Ruandas, auf einer Höhe von 1650–1850 m ü. d. M. Sie wurde 2016 gegründet und war eine der ersten Waschstationen in Ruandas Geschichte, die legal natürlichen und mit Honig verarbeiteten Kaffee produzierte und exportierte. Im Laufe der Jahre wurde Kilimbi zu einer preisgekrönten Station. Im Jahr 2020 war sie die einzige, die Honig produzierte. Rund 750 Kleinbauern arbeiten unter der Leitung von Joseph Ntarindwa mit der Waschstation zusammen.
