[Excellence Small Farmer Series] Colombia Luis Edgar Camacho Pink Bourbon
About This Coffee
From Family Farm to International Stage | The Outstanding Excellence of Luis Camacho Pink Bourbon In the highland town of Palestina in Huila, Colombia, Luis Edgar Camacho operates La Palma farm with his family, continuing the land and beliefs left by his forebears. He first planted Pink Bourbon variety in 2019, starting with 6,000 trees, and added 2,000 more in 2021, gradually establishing batches with stable quality and exceptional flavor. To improve quality, he actively adjusted post-processing methods, switching from traditional open-air fermentation tanks to sealed blue barrels with gas valves for more precise fermentation control. Having collaborated with exporter Caravela for many years, facing high standards as challenges actually drove further improvement, with each completed batch of green beans being an accumulation of progress. In 2022, he participated in Cup of Excellence for the first time, bringing his coffee to the international stage.
