About This Coffee
Ninga washing station, situated in the remote coffee-growing region of Burundi’s Kayanza Province. Home to dedicated coffee farmers whose livelihoods depend on this crop. In partnership with the Long Miles Coffee Project, these farmers are empowered to implement sustainable practices that enhance both coffee quality and environmental protection. Founded by Ben and Kristy Carlson, Long Miles has a proven track record of improving the lives of thousands of Burundian coffee farmers through social, economic, and environmental initiatives. This coffee embodies the resilience of the Giku Hill community and their unwavering commitment to producing exceptional coffee. This lot is a extended fermentation (anaerobic) honey, however without any signs of excessive fermentation. Expect a very clean, silky and delicate coffee with notes of acacia honey, black tea akin to rooibos and chamomile with a raspberry acidity.
