About This Coffee
This coffee comes from the Aricha Kebele (district and smallest administrative unit of Ethiopia) in the Yirgacheffe region. Like many Ethiopian coffees, it is characterized by a slightly floral and juicy aroma. Since coffee plays a key role in Ethiopia, it is the main source of income for many small farmers in the region. The coffee plants grow at an altitude of about 1950-2300 meters above sea level, and the harvest season lasts from October to January. Around 800 farmers are involved in coffee cultivation in the surrounding areas.

- Dieser Kaffee stammt aus dem Kebele (Distrikt und kleinste Verwaltungseinheit Äthiopiens) Aricha in der Region Yirgacheffe. Wie viele äthiopische Kaffees zeichnet er sich durch ein leicht blumiges und saftiges Aroma aus. Da Kaffee in Äthiopien eine Schlüsselrolle spielt, ist er die Haupteinnahmequelle vieler Kleinbauern in der Region. Die Kaffeepflanzen wachsen in einer Höhe von etwa 1950–2300 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel, und die Erntezeit dauert von Oktober bis Januar. Rund 800 Bauern sind in den umliegenden Gebieten im Kaffeeanbau tätig.
